Faith, Fear, & Fresh Starts

I’ve been procrastinating.

Fear still creeps in sometimes, but if 2024 taught me anything, it’s this: Don’t Let Fear Run The Show. So, after a few hours of putting off writing, here I am—showing up anyway.

A little about me to begin. I’m a mom to an 18-year-old son who’s a senior in high school. He’s my blessing and my miracle baby (a story I’ll share one day because it deserves its own space). I’m also a licensed massage therapist (LMT) in Texas, with a passion for wellness and self-care.

My values

  • God first

  • My son

  • My self-care

  • My family and friends

  • My animals (2 cats—Jewel and Smaug—and one big lovable dog named Cooper)

  • My home, which I strive to make a peaceful refuge for us all

I love nature and believe in honoring all life. If God created it, I do my best to love it.

Here’s what I want you to know

I will always be real here.
These words are mine.
I won’t sugarcoat my truth, and I won’t pretend life is always neat. It isn’t.
But in the mess—in the mistakes and the failures—is where we learn and grow.

I’ll share my story with vulnerability, hoping that maybe you’ll recognize yourself in some of them. That maybe, through my honesty, you’ll feel a little less alone in whatever it is you’re going through.

Because none of us make it through this life without some hard-earned lessons.

And when I share my victories—no matter how small—I hope you’ll celebrate with me. I’ll do the same for you. I may not have big worldly successes to flash around, but spiritually and personally, I’ve walked through fire and come out stronger.

Connection is everything to me

It’s through my faith that I’ve found the courage to embrace a new beginning.

A fresh approach to my work in wellness. With a new website, a new name, a new logo, and a new way of showing up in this space.

My wellness journey started back in 2000,

Twenty-five years later, here I am—with the same purpose I had back then: to help others heal and learn to love themselves.

Thanks for reading. I hope you’ll stick around as I share more stories, lessons, and love.

Let’s walk this journey together—with honesty, compassion, and care.
